I'm not going to lie I was really disappointed with this movie! I borrowed it from a friend for Valentines day and only got to watch it this last weekend.

Age Group?: 12 and up. Depending on your preference
Why?: There was kissing and lying.

I was really excited to watch this movie, because I had seen both the guy and girl in other movies and really liked them. So I asked my friend if we could borrow it and she let us. (she hadn't even seen it herself. Which I didn't know! But she let us borrow it anyway!) So we had a sleepover with some friends and wanting to watch a sappy romance movie we thought this would be just the ticket! And so we popped it in!

A hour and fifteen minutes later....We were all very disappointed and discussed what we thought about it... Here were some of the problems.
  1. The humor was cheesy. I'm talking those moments when someone makes such a bad joke that you feel embarrassed. Cringe. Hid your face. Bad... Cheesy humor.
  2. The "Christians" in the film said things like. "Halleluiah, Praise God, Lord be praised, etc..." at everything!  I don't know about you but I don't hear things like "Ashley is going on the mission trip!" other person "oh! God be praised!" (not said in the movie, just an example) Um..No. It bothered all of us girls!
      3.The clothes! Please! I'm pretty sure the guy wore the same button up throughout the whole film!  changing it up by putting sweater vests and other such things over it... I know maybe 3 guys who wear those types of things and it was Not working on him!
   
      4. They made him so, dumb almost. It was so obvious she didn't know Christ and he couldn't see it!        And  they went so far as him wearing (above mentioned clothing)stuff to please his parents, and not     doing what he wanted and (almost blindly) following his parents! Even dating the girl they wanted him with... He was almost 30!!

If your worried about romance: They kiss, hold hands and Hug. They're kissing is mildly passionate, meaning they kiss for a longer period of time at the end but unless you don't like kissing at all it shouldn't make you uncomfortable....Though I don't have any problem with movie kisses, this was a bit much for me, only because I don't think they had very good chemistry together and that makes it hard for me to watch. 

If your worried about violence: There was none. 

 If your worried about bad words: There was none.

 Other things: The Mom was mean. She wanted her son with someone else and was trying everything to make sure it happened. The main girl lies about being a Christian.

Youtube video review!!

To start off our Princess week I thought I'd start with this fun Disney princess medley! The video is fun and these guys are pretty decent singers too! They do dress up like Disney princesses... There is a guy in a open  vest top without a shirt under it through the whole video ... so if that makes you uncomfortable don't watch it!! Other then that it is clean, it doesn't have any language.
