My life and this blog.

Hey Faithful Followers! It's been so long! I'm gonna be very real here. When I started this blog I thought it was a brilliant idea! (Don't get me wrong I still think that!) But the thing is, I was doing it for selfish reasons. I've been thinking a lot lately of coming back to the blogging world and maybe setting something up outside of blogger where I can reach more people. The thing is, I don't want to get in over my head... I've decided that for now I'll be here at this blog, and maybe later start a bigger site for this.

Now on to the point of this blog.
It will still be the same, reading and reviewing and watching and reviewing. I want to help other young ladies find interesting books that are clean to read! Why? Because when I was younger all you heard from other Christians suggesting books were the same old things, you know what I'm talking about... Little house on the prairie, love comes softly, Anne of Green Gables and the like. Which are fantastic books that I loved! But I'm a book worm, I devoured those books and re-read them, I wanted more books! ones that would draw me in and be hard to put down! And I loved the covers and the story lines behind best sellers (come on! I can't be the only one who buys a book for the cool cover!) 
So I'd buy the book! And some were good! Some.... Not so good. You know when you're reading a great book and you run across something bad.. And you have got to look out for it and be willing to put the book down and you'll never know how it ends. (By the way, the same goes for movies!) 
So I thought to myself, it'd be nice if there was a christian book review place where they actually read new books and didn't just review things we already know are good, because they're by a christian author or for 10-25 year olds or the same old story or whatever! So with me being a book worm I've read so many books! And I'm not gonna lie there have been some filthy stuff in these young adult books. I've skipped whole chapters to avoid this kind of junk. So, I figured, I've already bought and read these books why not review for fellow book worms before they waste their money?!!
And thus, Keeper of the Books was born!

Christian Mingle -Movie review

~Christian Mingle~ -a movie review- I'm not going to lie I was really disappointed with this movie! I borrowed it from a friend for Valentines day and only got to watch it this last weekend. Here is the trailer in case you've never heard of it. Age Group?: 12 and up. Depending on your preference Why?: There was kissing and lying. I was really excited to watch this movie, because I had seen both the guy and girl in other movies and really liked them. So I asked my friend if we could borrow it and she let us. (she hadn't even seen it herself. Which I didn't know! But she let us borrow it anyway!) So we had a sleepover with some friends and wanting to watch a sappy romance movie we thought this would be just the ticket! And so we popped it in! Youtube video review!!

To start off our Princess week I thought I'd start with this fun Disney princess medley! The video is fun and these guys are pretty decent singers too! They do dress up like Disney princesses... There is a guy in a open  vest top without a shirt under it through the whole video ... so if that makes you uncomfortable don't watch it!! Other then that it is clean, it doesn't have any language.
